Bradford is best known to the se­cu­lar world as Gov­er­nor of Ply­mouth Col­o­ny. He em­i­grat­ed to Ply­mouth on the fa­mous May­flow­er in 1620, and was elect­ed to of­fice at least 30 times. His works in­clude:
