Campion was a doc­tor, po­et, and mu­si­cian, but his re­pu­ta­tion rests large­ly on his po­et­ic­al works (though his total con­tri­bu­tion to hymn­ol­o­gy is small). These in­clude various Masques performed before James I and others. Of these, some rare copies are in the British Museum. His works in­clude:
