Died: Oc­to­ber 14, 1848, Masulipatam, India.

Fox at­tend­ed Rug­by and Wad­ham Coll­ege, Ox­ford (BA, 1839) and was or­dained in 1840. He sailed for South In­dia in 1841, and there found­ed the Tel­e­gu Miss­ion of the An­gli­can Christ­ian Mis­sion­ary So­ci­e­ty (CMS) at Ma­sul­i­pa­tam. He be­came As­sist­ant Sec­re­ta­ry of the CMS in 1848.
