A Jesuit, Guiet taught class­ic­al li­ter­a­ture and mor­al the­ol­o­gy. He was al­so a preach­er, and ex­per­i­enced in the cer­e­mo­nies of the Church, and wrote a work on the or­der of re­cit­ing the di­vine of­fic­es.
