He was or­gan­ist at Mitch­am par­ish Church (1838, suc­ceed­ing his bro­ther Ed­ward); St. Ste­phen’s, Is­ling­ton (1839); Trin­i­ty Church, Is­lin­gton (1843); St. Mark’s, Jer­sey (1845); St. Mi­chael’s, Ches­ter Square (1846); and Ro­ches­ter Ca­thed­ral (1856-1900).
