Daugh­ter of Henry Wor­rall (an im­mi­grant from Ug­hill, West Rid­ing, York­shire) and Do­ro­thea Blanche Wade, Palm­er was a well known 19th Cen­tu­ry evan­gel­ist, in­volved with the “ho­li­ness” move­ment.
