Pollock was educated at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He studied medicine in London, but decided instead to take Holy Orders. He served at St. Luke’s Church, Leeds, and St. Thomas’ Church, Stamford Hill, London. Then, for the remainder of his life, he ministered to the poor at St. Alban’s Mission in Birmingham.
