Buried: Green­wood Cem­e­te­ry, Tren­ton, New Jer­sey.

Zelley at­tend­ed Pen­ning­ton Sem­in­ar­y and Tay­lor Un­i­ver­si­ty, where he earned his PhD. and di­vin­i­ty de­gree. Or­dained a Meth­od­ist min­is­ter, he worked in the New Jersey Con­fer­ence, re­tir­ing in 1929. He wrote over 1,500 po­ems, hymns, and Gos­pel songs.
