Savior, to Thy mercy seat
Humbly trusting, I draw near;
Now my waiting spirit meet,
Lend to me Thy gracious ear.

Thou canst cleanse the vilest stain,
Now apply Thy precious blood;
Let no spot of guilt remain,
Wash me in the crimson flood.

Savior, hear my earnest prayer,
Now Thy great compassion show;
Let my contrite spirit share
All Thy mercy can bestow.
