Born: June 8, 1660, Husum, Schleswig.
Died: May 29, 1722, Bremen, Germany.
Son of Herr Lorenz (or Laurenti), a burgess of Husum, Laurentius entered the University of Rostock in 1681. A year and a half later, he went to Kiel to study music. In 1684, he was appointed cantor and music director at the cathedral church in Bremen. His works include:
